Billing & Subscription Policy (Ribbit +)

Effective Date: March 4th, 2026

This Billing & Subscription Policy ("Billing Policy") explains how paid subscriptions to Ribbit + are billed, renewed, cancelled, and managed. Ribbit + is optional and is not required to use Ribbit. By purchasing or managing a Ribbit + subscription, you agree to this Billing Policy in addition to our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1. Ribbit + Subscription Plans

  • Monthly Plan: $4 USD per month (auto-renewing)
  • Yearly Plan: $40 USD per year (auto-renewing)

2. Payments & Billing Provider

Ribbit uses Stripe as our payment processor. When you subscribe to Ribbit +, your payment information is processed securely by Stripe. Ribbit does not store your full payment card details.

Your subscription begins once Stripe confirms successful payment. If payment is not successful, your subscription will not activate (or may be interrupted) until payment is completed.

3. Auto-Renewal

Ribbit + subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or yearly) unless you cancel before your renewal date. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

4. Failed Payments, Late Payments, and Account Status

If a payment fails or is declined, Stripe may retry charging your payment method according to Stripe’s retry rules and may notify you about payment issues. During this time, your Ribbit + subscription may show as past due and may be limited or suspended until payment is resolved.

Ribbit + features may be unavailable while your account is past due. Once payment succeeds, access is typically restored automatically.

5. Cancellations

You can cancel Ribbit + at any time through the Manage Subscription option in the Ribbit + dropdown on your profile (Stripe’s customer billing portal).

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have Ribbit + access until the end of the month/year you already paid for.
  • After your billing period ends, your Ribbit + features will be disabled automatically unless you re-subscribe.

6. Refunds

Unless required by applicable law, Ribbit + subscription payments are generally non-refundable. This means we do not typically provide refunds or credits for:

  • Partial billing periods
  • Unused time remaining after cancellation
  • Accidental purchases or failure to cancel before renewal

If you believe you were charged in error (for example, a duplicate charge), please contact us and we will review the issue.

7. Managing Your Subscription

Through Stripe’s billing portal, you may be able to:

  • Cancel your subscription
  • Update your payment method
  • View invoices and billing history

Ribbit may not be able to directly edit your payment method details because billing is handled by Stripe. If you need help accessing the portal, contact us.

8. Chargebacks & Disputes

If you file a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer, we may be required to suspend or restrict Ribbit + access while the dispute is investigated. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve billing issues quickly.

9. Service Changes & Feature Availability

Ribbit + is an optional subscription that may evolve over time. We may add, remove, or change features, benefits, or availability of Ribbit + at any time. Where required by law, we will provide notice of material changes.
